Sir Speedy To Open 20 Local Franchisee Stores in 2015

Sir Speedy, one of the brands of Franchise Service, is all planning to expand its footprint across India with printing and marketing services franchisee stores outside of the southern region, a senior company official has said.

The company will be initiating its investment plans to grow its reach in major markets like Delhi and Mumbai in this year. Sir Speedy provides full-service printing and marketing services to companies of all sizes. The worldwide network of printing and marketing services centers is owned by Franchise Services, Inc. (FSI) based in Mission Viejo, CA.

In an exclusive interaction with John Bowen, VP, International Development, Franchise Services said, “We have been present in India for last five years, with our Sir Speedy brand of printing and marketing franchisee stores in Hyderabad and Bangalore. This year we want to strengthen our reach in major cities. We are looking for investors and print stores, who are interested to collaborate with our franchisee concept.”

Sir Speedy along with its technology partner Xerox is spearheading its expansion plans in Delhi and Mumbai. “In last five years, we have understood the Indian market, this printing and marketing services franchise concept is picking up very fast in China, but in India we are working out on our licensing strategy and value proposition, as the Indian customers do not want to spend on digital printing,” said Bowen.

Apart from printing, scanning, Sir Speedy offers various services including Financial Management, Sales and Marketing Management, Operations management, employee management, training and end to end marketing strategy. Chandrajit Narraa, MD, Sir Speedy India said, “Presently, we have four franchisee stores in Hyderabad and Bangalore. This year our target to have 20 franchisee stores in next two years. With the support of Xerox, we will be meeting with investors.”

Apart from Sir Speedy, Franchise Services has other brands like PIP, Signal Graphics, TeamLogic IT, Multicopy and Eastnet print in different countries. Pankaj Kalra, Head Production Systems Group, Xerox India said, “We have been working closely with Sir Speedy for last many years. Digital printing services is not organised in India. With Sir Speedy, we will reach out to SMBs customers, as technology is a core offering of Sir Speedy services.”
