Verdict: Shipped with only a started cartridge pack, the 6000 could pinch your pocket initially. If your concern is print quality though, this is for you.

Against: Slightly expensive ink requirements, no network option

This color printer has a curvy shell with a white marble matte exterior. The compact design and looks makes it suitable for stylish offices and homes. The printer has a resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi with a duty cycle of 30,000 pages per month. The control panel control panel has a circular design with all the status LEDs and ink volume indicators on it. The cartridges are drum-less and are pretty expensive. Each color cartridge costs Rs.2,867 and yields around 1,000 pages each, while the black cartridge costs Rs.4,300 and can yield 2,000 pages. The printer uses the HiQ LED engine printing technology, which is more energy efficient, when compared to a laser printer. LED printers have no moving parts, like lasers and mirrors that are used in conventional laser technology-based printers. The Xerox Phaser 6000 has top speeds of 12 ppm for black and 10 ppm for color. The printer takes around 17 seconds to warm up after a cold boot, while a first print can be fired within 15 seconds. we noticed that the prints were excellent and crisp. Colors printed were bright, while the registration of black text meeting with colour areas was excellent.
